Caroline Marsh

Executive coach and mentor, ILM Level 7, a Co-Active trained coach, trained Action Learning Set Facilitator, member of the International Coach Federation and  Fellow of the RSA.

I have a long-standing determination and passion to change the world. A  drive to champion social justice was there from the very start of my career in social work. This led to roles as Director of Adult Social Care in Manchester, and then Director with the Ministry of Justice managing prisons and probation in the North West. Having moved into consultancy and coaching nearly 10 years ago, I continue to support personal change through direct one to one  leadership coaching and support. I have personally benefited from coaching over the last 20 years and know how powerful and transformative it has been for me. I want to offer this to others as their catalyst for change.

I run a social business and offer some of my time as a volunteer. I am a volunteer coach for Queen Bee Coaching, a service in Manchester to support women leaders, and I also sit on the Steering Group. I am also a Trustee of two charities that work to make a difference for individuals through empowerment - Step Together Volunteering and People’s Voice Media.

I am active in several networks including Association of Directors of Adult Social Services and Commonwealth Study Conferences Global Alumni (Board Member)

I am an active Soroptimist, channelling energy into projects that empower women and girls to achieve their potential, locally and globally. I established and facilitated Women’s Leadership Support Groups in the workplace and undertook a leadership project talking to a range of women to identify the characteristics that made them successful. As a result, I am interested in projects that challenge stereotypes in the workplace. As a volunteer, I set up the first Women’s Refuge in Macclesfield, and organised a Soroptimists conference showcasing local inspiring women, and runs social media campaigns on issues to promote equality.
